Brief: “Enrich the visual identity of Purple Brain studio by animating their logo in 3D”

Concept: “Purple Brain” is a 3D logo animation for the Purple Brain production house. By combining their visual identity elements such as color scheme, imagery, typeface, and logo variations in addition to considering the look and feel of their website and social media accounts, Instagram as an example, we are inspired to produce a logo animation for them.

There are multiple factors that were set in order to achieve the desired final result. Starting by implementing dynamics in the whole animation, followed by focusing on minimalism but it should be intriguing as well, then by aiming to make it flashy and mentally crazy, while following the brand guidelines. As a result, we came with an idea in which a brain is mimicking a bowling ball. When it hits all the pins, the phrase “It’s a strike” appears then it quickly flashes to become “It’s Mental” which is the tagline of Purple Brain.
